The Delivery Workflow is part of the overall iCat Contents Process.

If you are looking for the full end-to-end workflow (Pack-Out → Warehouse → Restoration → Delivery), you can view it here:

This article focuses specifically on the Delivery portion of that process.

1️⃣ Find Contents Ready for Delivery & Create a Pick List

Admin determines which contents are approved and ready to be delivered.

Pick Lists follow best practice because they:

  • Clearly define which items and quantities are authorized for delivery

  • Ensure contents are picked correctly

  • Make it easy to generate documentation for homeowner review or signature

2️⃣ Pick & Stage / Transfer Contents

After a pick list is created, warehouse teams retrieve the contents and stage them for delivery.

Contents may be transferred to any appropriate location based on your workflow:

  • Warehouse Staging

  • Truck

  • Holding Location

  • On-Site: Insured / Homeowner Location

3️⃣ Deliver & Transfer Contents On-Site

At the job site, contents are scanned and transferred to the Insured / Homeowner Location.

This action:

  • Completes the physical delivery

  • Records the digital transfer simultaneously

  • Preserves an accurate chain of custody

  • Ensures job status and analytics reflect actual field activity

Documentation may be generated for homeowner sign-off when required.

Delivery Process Complete

When all three steps are followed:

  • Authorization is confirmed

  • Warehouse retrieval is controlled

  • Field delivery is verified

  • Chain of custody is preserved

Delivery is now fully closed in both physical and digital workflows.
