Why This Review Matters

When leadership and field teams share a commitment to high-quality pack-outs, jobs run smoothly, warehouse teams stay organized, and your contents division can grow confidently.

For expanding teams, spending a few minutes reviewing your work after upload is one of the most impactful habits you can build.

This guide outlines what a Road Lead should check immediately after completing and uploading a pack-out inventory.

1. Confirm All Contents Are Uploaded

Before leaving the site or ending the shift:

  • Ensure all devices used during pack-out have uploaded

  • Confirm the upload has fully completed for the day’s work

This prevents delays and ensures the warehouse team sees everything that was captured.

2. Confirm All Contents Are Accounted For

Upon returning to the warehouse:

a. Scan all items and boxes into a Receiving Location

Example: Warehouse Receiving

As you scan:

  • If an item does not register, this indicates a potential issue:

    • It may not have been inventoried correctly

    • The device may not have uploaded

    • The barcode may be incorrect or unreadable

This step ensures incoming inventory is reconciled with what was captured in the field.

3. Confirm Rush Contents Are Organized Correctly

If your workflow requires RUSH items to be handled separately:

  • Verify that all Rush Items were moved to the designated warehouse location (e.g., Rush Receiving)

  • In the mobile app, open the job and use smart search to filter for Rush contents

  • All Rush items must appear together in one location

This confirms:

  • The truck was loaded thoughtfully

  • RUSH labels were applied correctly

  • The team offloaded the truck in proper order (Rush last on, first off)

4. Deal With the Tags

Any time you view a job, you’ll see all tags associated with its items:

  • Tags appear on the top right in the web view

  • Tags appear in smart search filters on the mobile app

Common tags include:

  • Insured directions: donate, dispose, estimate-only

  • Subcontractor routing: textile vendor, electronics vendor, etc.

If tags exist, take the required actions so nothing gets overlooked before production or valuation.

5. Do a General “Once Over”

Using the mobile app’s smart search filter, visually review the job:

Look for:

  • Missing or unusual room names

  • Incorrect item statuses

  • Unexpected tags

  • Items that seem out of place or require follow-up

This quick 30–60 second pass helps catch issues before they create downstream problems for the warehouse, cleaning teams, adjusters, or homeowners.
