How to Edit a Location Name in iCat

This guide explains how to edit an existing location name or properties in iCat using the web portal.

Edit a Location (Web)

  1. Log into iCat Web.

  2. Hover over Resources in the top navigation.

  3. Click Manage Location.

  4. Use the Search field to find the location you want to edit.

    • You can also click Search with no filters to see all locations.

  5. Select the location you want to change.

  6. Open the Action menu and click Edit Location.

  7. Update the location name or any other properties.

  8. Click Submit to save your changes.

Changes are applied immediately and will be reflected anywhere the location is used in iCat.
