When to Use This Mode

Use the Standard Single-Item Workflow when a non-salvage item cannot be captured cleanly using Quick-Shot and requires more detailed documentation.

This workflow is ideal for:

  • Cluttered or obstructed photos

  • Items requiring a manual description (AI cannot determine the correct item)

  • Complex quantities (e.g., 175 CDs, sets, bundles)

  • Items needing more than two photos

  • Unique, specialty, or commercial items

  • Unidentified items requiring clarification

  • Items where notes or tags must be applied

  • Claim-related damage requiring extra documentation

AI will continue to update the product category automatically, but you control the description and quantity fields.

Steps

  1. Open the job → go to Inventory → tap +.

  2. Tap Room and select (or add) the correct room.

  3. Tap Status and choose Replacement (Non-Salvage).

  4. Tap the Content Images icon to take photos.

    • Take an overall photo even if the background is cluttered.

    • Take additional photos if you need to document quantity, condition, or damage.

  5. Tap Done when finished taking photos.

  6. Tap Description to manually write the item description.

    • Required when the first photo is cluttered or unclear.

  7. Tap QTY and enter the total quantity (e.g., 175).

  8. Tap Save to complete the item entry.
