When to Use This Mode
Use this workflow when you need to inventory a large single restorable item but the area is cluttered, making it impossible to capture clean photos of the item by itself.
Because AI will attempt to identify every visible object in the photo, a manual description is required. Without it, AI would generate a multi-item description, which is not valid for billing or cleaning-code assignment on a single restorable item.
You will still scan an item barcode for full tracking throughout restoration.
Ideal for large standalone pieces such as:
Desks with items on top
Dressers surrounded by contents
Tables with cluttered surfaces
Any item obstructed by nearby belongings
Steps
Open the job → go to Inventory → tap +.
Tap Room and select the room where the item is located.
Tap Item Barcode and scan the barcode attached to the item.
Tap Content Images to take photos.
Take the best photo possible, even if clutter is present.
AI cannot determine which item is intended, so a manual description will be required.
Tap Done after taking the photos.
Tap Add Description and manually enter the item type (e.g., “Desk”).
Tap Done to save the description.
Tap Save to complete the inventory entry.
