Move Contents to a New Box

Use the Contents Production View in the mobile inventory app to move contents from an existing box into a new box.

During cleaning, it’s common to encounter situations where items no longer fit in their original pack-out box—for example:

  • After wrapping, the cleaned items take up more space

  • Some items were not restorable, reducing the total contents

  • The original box size is no longer appropriate

When this happens, you can easily move the contents to a new box.

How to Move Contents Into a New Box

  1. Open the iCat Inventory App and go to:
    ​Production → Contents Production

  2. Search for or scan the original box barcode.

  3. If the box is automatically selected, deselect it, then expand the box details to view all contents inside.

  4. Select only the items you want to move.
    ​(Do not select the box itself.)

  5. Open the Action Menu and choose:
    ​Move Items Into a New Box

  6. Select the new box resource type you want to assign.

The app will automatically create a new box, move the selected items into it, and prepare it for final labeling and pack-back.
