Connecting iCat to PSA (Canam Systems)

This article explains how to connect iCat to PSA by Canam Systems.

Once connected, new jobs created in PSA automatically appear in iCat as new jobs.

Requirements

  • An active PSA (Canam Systems) account

  • A PSA API Key and PSA Schema ID (provided by PSA)

  • Admin access to your iCat Cloud account

Step 1: Enable the Integration in iCat

  1. Log in to your iCat Cloud account

  2. Go to Admin → System Setup

  3. Open the 3rd Party Integration tab

Step 2: Contact PSA Support

PSA must provide the credentials required for the integration.

  • Email PSA Support using the Webhook Subscription Information shown in iCat

  • Request:

    • PSA API Key

    • PSA Schema ID

Step 3: Enter PSA Credentials in iCat

  1. Enter the PSA API Key provided by PSA

  2. Enter the PSA Schema ID

  3. Click Save

After Setup

  • Create a new job in PSA

  • A matching job will automatically appear in iCat
