You can hide images from reports and on-line views.  
You can edit images to highlight pre-existing damages.

In the Item Detail View select the image checkboxes to either hide or edit the original image. 

Click the <Hide> or <Edit> button to hide or edit the selected images.

Hidden images will have red border around them and you can un-hide them by reverting the steps.  

If you select Edit, you can use the available on-screen tools to adjust the image to help highlight and detect pre-existing damages.
